Flourish Sydney Opera & Harbour Adventure

Thursday 16 April – Sunday 19 April 2026

Join us for a long weekend in Sydney filled with iconic sights, VIP experiences, and fabulous new friendships! Whether you’re coming solo or with friends, this curated Flourish Adventure promises unforgettable memories.

Thursday 16 April 2026 – Arrival Day

Arrive in Sydney at your leisure and make your way to our beautiful, centrally located Sydney Harbour Hotel. The location for our trip is the best it can get. As the site of the first European settlement in Australia, the Rocks is known for its cobbled streets, heritage-listed sandstone buildings, and significant colonial history, alongside a vibrant contemporary scene with dining, markets, and outdoor events. The area offers stunning views of the harbour and is a hub for both tourists and locals, featuring museums, historic pubs, and a range of shops. Our trip officially starts at 5pm with a welcome drink in the bar, but feel free to arrive earlier and tick off a Sydney bucket list activity of your choice!

After our welcome drink, we’ll head out for dinner - we have a fabulous rooftop restaurant booked where you can order a pub meal whilst overlooking the harbour (own cost) Can't get to Sydney by 5pm? You are welcome to meet us somewhere later in the night or just join the group at breakfast on Friday.

Friday 17 April 2026 – Opera & Manly Adventure

After breakfast (included), we’ll wander from our Hotel to one of Sydney's most famous pattiserie. Feel free to grab some morning tea before we head to Observatory Hill - taking in the view of the Harbour and checking out the Rocks area - there will be more time for shopping tomorrow. Next we head to the Sydney Opera House for a guided tour, discovering fascinating stories behind this world-famous landmark – from its architectural secrets to tales of its performers and history. Our tour includes lunch and a drink in one of the three venues outside the Opera House - you choose your favourite and soak up the atmosphere with your new friends before heading back to the hotel to freshen up for the main event.

: Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Botanical Gardens.

We will arrive at the show in style - by catching the water taxi from Circular Quay direct to the gate for the show. Our Platinum tickets include pre-show drinks and canapés – feel like a VIP as you bypass the pop-up bars and enjoy private facilities. Then settle into your seat for the show, with more drinks and canapés at the interval. This outdoor concert is an outdoor all-weather event, so bring a poncho just in case! After the show and fireworks, we can grab a nightcap on our way back to the hotel.

Saturday 18 April 2026 – Rocks & Sunset Cruise

After breakfast, we’ll take a guided walking tour of The Rocks, uncovering the stories of early Sydney life and its colonial past.

Afterwards, explore the famous Rocks Market, browse the amazing stalls, and maybe pick up some unique souvenirs to take home. BYO lunch today.

In the evening, we’ll frock up and take to the seas as we board a sunset cruise – including snacks and drinks – for perfect photo opportunities of Sydney’s Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and Luna Park. Toast your new friends as the sun sets on our last night together. We’ll return at 7:30pm, leaving the rest of the evening free for you to explore Sydney at your leisure - perhaps grab a cocktail at one of the many bars in the Circular Quay and Rocks area.

Sunday 19 April 2026 – Departure

After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to your new friends. Fly home whenever you like, or take the chance to take part in your own adventure – perhaps a Bridge Climb, shopping spree, or a visit to the famous Bondi Beach.

About Phantom of the Opera

The Music of the Night soars across Sydney Harbour. Let the spectacle astound you…

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s global phenomenon returns on its 40th anniversary to Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour in a critically acclaimed spectacular. Forty years ago The Phantom of the Opera burst onto the West End, becoming a sensation unlike anything the world had ever seen. Celebrate Phantom’s milestone anniversary in grand style, with the hotly anticipated return of our larger than-life staging on Sydney Harbour.

The story of a mysterious masked man living beneath the Paris Opera House, who falls madly in love with a young singer and employs every devious method to nurture her talents, has enthralled audiences for decades. It’s played to over 160 million people in 58 territories and 205 cities in 21 languages. The iconic score is studded with hits: from the haunting beauty of ‘The Music of the Night’ and ‘All I Ask of You’ to the splendour of ‘Masquerade’, and the crashing chords of the title song.

Directed by Australia’s master of musical theatre, Simon Phillips, and with audacious costumes and sets by Gabriela Tylesova, this staging brings a whole new level of spectacle to the show’s defining moments – the mirror, the journey to the Phantom’s lair, the chandelier – on an enormous stage built over the water. With themed pop-up bars and dining, fireworks every night, and a live orchestra hidden beneath the stage, this is an evening you’ll never forget.
