A Flourish Pop-Up Adventure For Women| This Saturday
Join Jacqui for a relaxed, social Saturday escape exploring art, wine and coastal favourites — all without having to plan a thing.
🚌 Departure
8:30am from Cornelian Bay Boathouse - the carpark opposite the Boathouse has no parking restrictions.
(Grab a takeaway coffee on the way if you like ☕)
We’ll travel south in our air-conditioned Flourish van, with a great playlist, easy conversation and a small group of ladies.
🖼️ Stop One: Art Farm Birchs Bay
Our first stop is the beautiful Art Farm Birchs Bay, a unique outdoor sculpture trail set on a working farm overlooking the D’Entrecasteaux Channel.
The trail features large-scale contemporary artworks by Tasmanian and interstate artists, showcased as part of the Art Farm Birchs Bay Sculpture Prize. Sculptures are thoughtfully placed throughout paddocks, bushland and open spaces, blending creativity with nature.
We’ll spend around an hour wandering at an easy pace through the landscape — taking it all in, chatting, stopping for photos and enjoying the fresh air.
👉 Please note: the track includes gentle hills and uneven ground, so closed-toe shoes and a moderate level of fitness are recommended.
🍷 Stop Two: Cathedral Rock Vineyard – Wine Tasting
Walking works up a thirst, so next we head to Cathedral Rock Vineyard, a gorgeous boutique winery nestled in the foothills near Sandfly.
This small, family-run vineyard is known for its cool-climate wines, including Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Riesling. We’ll enjoy a relaxed wine tasting in a peaceful rural setting, soaking up the scenery and learning a little about the wines and the land they come from.
A perfect chance to slow down, connect and enjoy something truly local.
🍺 Final Stop: Hopfields Brewery – Brewery Lunch & Local Brews
To finish the adventure, we’ll head to Hopfields Brewery in Margate — a heritage brewery set in an old hop drying shed that’s now a lively bar, restaurant and beer garden.
Here, you can enjoy:
A wide range of locally brewed beers (from hoppy IPAs to creamy stouts) and ciders on tap
A thoughtful wine and spirits list
Seasonal, hearty food and pub classics perfectly paired with your drinks
A relaxed indoor bar or sunny outdoor beer garden with plenty of room to unwind
Whether you’re into craft beer, a crisp cider, or a wine on the side, there’s something for everyone here — and it’s the perfect way to wrap up our day together.
Food and drinks at Hopfields is own cost — dine on delicious modern pub fare at reasonable prices and soak up the easy-going vibe before heading home.
If there's time on the way back we may also stop off at Boho at the Beach to check out their great clothing and giftware.
🏡 Return
We’ll head back to Cornelian Bay by approximately 2:00pm, having enjoyed a full but unhurried day out.
