Join Flourish Experiences for a fabulous four day day/three-night getaway based in the heart of Broadbeach. We’ve put together a trip that gives you the best of both worlds – some fantastic experiences already organised for you, plus plenty of free time to relax, shop, explore or simply enjoy our beautiful hotel or the beach across the road.

And because this is a Flourish Experience, you don’t need to find someone to come with you. Come with a friend or book yourself a single room. We’ll take care of the plans, bring the group together and give you the opportunity to meet a wonderful bunch of women along the way.

OUR HOME FOR THREE NIGHTS – SOFITEL GOLD COAST BROADBEACH

We’re staying right in the heart of Broadbeach at the luxurious 5-star Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, just steps from the beach and surrounded by restaurants, bars and shopping.

Our group will be staying in Superior Hinterland View Rooms, featuring private balconies and beautiful hinterland views. The rooms are a generous 37 square metres and feature Sofitel’s signature bedding and marble bathrooms with a separate bath and shower.

Each morning begins with an included buffet breakfast at Bistro On3, but there’s plenty more to enjoy at the hotel.

Sofitel features two outdoor swimming pools – including one heated year-round – a heated outdoor spa, fitness centre and tennis court, plus onsite dining and bars. The pool deck overlooks the Gold Coast hinterland and even offers poolside food and cocktail service. And the location is brilliant. Beach, shops, cafés, restaurants and bars are all nearby, with Pacific Fair also within easy reach.

This is definitely a hotel worth allowing some time to enjoy!

DAY ONE – THURSDAY 29 APRIL 2027

WELCOME TO THE GOLD COAST

Make your way to the Gold Coast and check into our beautiful accommodation at Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach. Settle into your room, have a wander around Broadbeach or perhaps head down to the pool before meeting your Flourish host and fellow travellers for our welcome drink. It’s the perfect chance to put some faces to names and meet the ladies you’ll be sharing the next few days with. Then we’re off!

Our private Flourish transfer will collect us from the hotel and take us to the marina for our Gold Coast dinner cruise. Tonight is all about sitting back and enjoying the Gold Coast from the water. We’ll indulge in chef prepared buffet dinner featuring local produce while taking in panoramic Broadwater views and the spectacular Surfers Paradise skyline, accompanied by live entertainment.

And we’re not stopping at dinner – our drinks package is included too, featuring a selection of wines, beers and soft drinks, plus cocktails.

At the end of the evening, our private transfer will be waiting to take us back to the Sofitel.

DAY TWO – FRIDAY 30 APRIL 2027

CRYSTAL CASTLE & BYRON BAY

After our included buffet breakfast at Sofitel, our private coach will collect us from the hotel for a full day of exploring. Our first stop is somewhere pretty special – Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens, nestled in the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland.

Set amongst 10 hectares of subtropical botanical gardens, Crystal Castle is home to some extraordinary sights, including the 5.5-metre Crystal Guardians, the Crystal Labyrinth, giant crystals, sacred statues, the Buddha Walk and peaceful Shambhala Gardens. There’s time to wander the gardens, marvel at the incredible crystals and soak up the peaceful surroundings. We’ll also experience a Crystal Sound Healing session in the Peace Dome – a gentle sound bath using crystal singing bowls.

Whether you’re a crystal lover or simply appreciate beautiful gardens and experiencing something a little different, this is going to be a gorgeous way to spend our morning. Then it’s back on our private coach and off to Byron Bay.

We’ll visit the iconic Cape Byron Lighthouse, standing at the most easterly point of the Australian mainland, with spectacular views across the ocean and hinterland. Afterwards, the afternoon is yours. Hit the shops, wander the streets of Byron, find somewhere fabulous for lunch, grab a coffee, head to the beach for a swim or simply find a sunny spot and watch the world go by. Later in the afternoon, our coach will collect us for the trip back to Broadbeach.

Tonight is Choose Your Own Adventure! After a big day out, you might be perfectly happy to stay at Sofitel and enjoy dinner and a drink at the hotel. Or head out with some of your new friends and explore one of the many restaurants and bars around Broadbeach.

The choice is completely yours.

DAY THREE – SATURDAY 1 MAY 2027

YOUR DAY, YOUR WAY + DRACULA’S!

Today is yours! After our included buffet breakfast at your leisure, there are no alarms to set and nowhere you have to be.

Fancy a lazy morning beside one of Sofitel’s pools? Go for it.

Want to head to the beach? It’s just a short stroll away.

Ready for some serious retail therapy? Pacific Fair is nearby.

Want to head to the theme parks - why not?

Or perhaps you’d rather enjoy a long lunch, explore Broadbeach, grab a cocktail with some of the ladies or simply enjoy your beautiful hotel room with a book and do absolutely nothing.

This is your holiday – spend the day exactly how you want to.

Later in the afternoon we’ll come back together before getting ready for our final night. And we’re going out with a BANG! Tonight we’re heading to one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic entertainment experiences – Dracula’s Theatre Restaurant.

We have A Reserve tickets, with our evening including the famous ghost train ride, a three-course dinner and a cocktail on arrival.

Expect music, comedy, costumes, cabaret, surprises and plenty of laughs. After three days together, this is going to be one very fun final night with the girls!

DAY FOUR – SUNDAY 2 MAY 2027

ONE LAST BREAKFAST

Enjoy one final included buffet breakfast together at Sofitel. Depending on your travel plans, there’s still time for a swim, some last-minute shopping, a stroll along the beach or one final coffee in Broadbeach before checking out.

For anyone with a later flight who isn’t quite ready for the weekend to end, we’ll organise an optional lunch at the Broadbeach Hotel. This lunch is not included in your package and will be at your own expense. Then it’s time for hugs, goodbyes and hopefully plenty of plans to catch up with the new friends you’ve made.

Because that’s one of our favourite things about a Flourish trip – you may arrive not knowing anyone, but you certainly don’t have to leave that way.

WHO IS THIS TRIP FOR?

Most women who join our trips are in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond, but there is no “right age” to Flourish. Come with your best friend, your sister, your mum, your daughter – or come completely on your own. In fact, many women join Flourish trips solo. That’s the beauty of travelling with Flourish. You get the independence of travelling for yourself, without having to actually travel by yourself.

There will be organised group experiences, shared meals and plenty of opportunities to get to know everyone, but we've deliberately built free time into this getaway too. You can join other ladies for lunch or shopping, or happily disappear to the pool with a book for a few hours.

There is no pressure to do everything together.

A FEW IMPORTANT DETAILS

Minimum Numbers

This getaway requires a minimum number of guests to proceed. For this reason, please do not book your flights until you receive confirmation directly from Jacqui that the minimum number has been reached and the trip is confirmed to proceed. Once the minimum number is reached, guests will be notified and can arrange their flights.

Fitness Level

There will be a reasonable amount of walking during this trip. Each participants needs to have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to get on and off buses unassisted. If you are unsure, please contact Jacqui at hello@flourishexperiences.com.au

Flights & Airport Transfers

Flights to and from the Gold Coast and transfers between the airport and Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach are not included in the package price.

This allows you to choose the airline, flight times and departure city that work best for you.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that every guest purchases comprehensive domestic travel insurance as soon as the trip is confirmed and you begin making your individual travel arrangements. Your policy should be appropriate for your personal circumstances and ideally provide cover for cancellation, medical issues, luggage and other unexpected events that could affect your travel.
