Cost: $155 (includes return coach travel, 3-course lunch, wine, opportunity to meet new friends - including the friendly farm animals)

Ladies, we have something truly special lined up for July. During a time that people typically go into hibernation in Tasmania - we are heading out and about and we'd love you to join us! This is no ordinary day out - we have bagpipes serenading us on arrival, a destination out of the ordinary and the chance to spot a platypus and hang with some farm animals.

Join us as we jump on our luxury coach and escape the city. We'll head to the breathtaking Central Highlands for an afternoon at Rathmore – a 92-acre historic estate nestled in Hollow Tree, around 15km from Bothwell. This c1830 convict-built sandstone homestead has been lovingly restored, and we’re thrilled to host our next Flourish Ladies event at this unique and unforgettable location.

Our day begins with a coach pick-up from Hobart and Glenorchy, bringing us to Rathmore where we’ll be welcomed in true Highland style — with the stirring sound of a local bagpipe player.

We’ll gather around the crackling braziers in the restored barn and we'll warm up with a cup of mulled wine and delicious warm canapés - here you'll get a chance to get to know the other ladies at this event before our sit down meal.

🍷 Mulled wine (served by the braziers) & warm canapés

🍝 Main: Locally sourced Lamb ragù served with fresh pasta, with a glass of Invercarron Rosé or Pinot Noir

🍨 Dessert: Spectacular flamed Bombe Alaska with hot homemade caramel sauce

🍷 Extra wine will be available to purchase by the glass or bottle from the local Invercarron Vineyard (own cost)

🌱 Vegetarian and gluten-free options available — please advise when booking.

After lunch, take time to explore the property — While visiting Rathmore you are likely to spy one of their 6 local wild platypus in the Dew Rivulet, especially from the Platypus Punt. They also have other friendly farm animals you can say hi to including sheep, calves, chooks and ducks. This is your time to relax, connect, and savour the charm of a truly unordinary Flourish winter experience.

This event is proudly presented by Flourish Events Tasmania and hosted in collaboration with Rathmore owners, Cally and Richard Lyons. Transport provided by Greenline VIP transport in a luxury 50 seat bus (complete with loo). Wine sourced from Invercarron Wines located in the Jordan Valley, Tasmania.
