Grab your girlfriends, sisters, daughters or Mum (and your credit card)—we’re off to Melbourne for a cheeky pre-Christmas shopping getaway packed with sparkle, style, and a sprinkle of Flourish fun.

Join us for a fabulous ladies-only weekend filled with festive fun, new friendships, indulgent experiences, and plenty of time to shop 'til you drop (then recharge with a cocktail).

Whether you're shopping for others or mostly for yourself (we won’t tell!), this is your chance to unwind, connect, and treat yourself before the Christmas chaos begins.

Friday 5 December – Welcome to Melbourne + Friday Night Shopping

Arrive in Melbourne at your leisure and check into the beautiful 4.5⭐️ Rydges Melbourne—perfectly located for a weekend of festive fun. You'll have your own time to explore or maybe take a swim in the heated pool. At 5pm, we’ll officially kick things off with a welcome drink at Bossley Bar, giving you the chance to meet your fellow Flourish travellers and start the weekend in style.

Then it's time for Friday Night Shopping! We’ll take a stroll to the famous Bourke Street Mall, where most shops stay open until 9pm. You’ll have time to explore:

• David Jones

• Zara

• H&M

• Other Boutiques and Speciality stores

• And of course, we'll have time to check out the famous Myer Christmas Windows. Best seen at night time, this iconic display is celebrating it's 70th year, plus Myer have nine floors of festive shopping!

  
  

Dinner tonight is casual and at your own cost, with plenty of laneway eateries and food courts to choose from. We'll wander back to the hotel as a group. Perhaps finish the night with a cheeky cocktail back at the hotel bar. 🍸

Saturday 6 December – VIP Shopping at Chadstone + Christmas Magic

Start the day early with a delicious buffet breakfast (included), then we’re off to Chadstone – The Fashion Capital, via a shuttle from Federation Square. Here you can explore 500+ stores in one fabulous location. You can check them all out here.

Enjoy the Flourish VIP shopping experience, featuring:

• Welcome by the Chadstone Concierge

• Access to a private lounge where you can rest and recharge

• After shopping, it's time to elevate your senses with an indulgent High Tea experience at Altus Rooftop, perched on Level 12 of Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery. Discover breathtaking views of Melbourne’s skyline and a refined twist on tradition in a luxurious setting.

  Presented on an elegant custom gold 3-tier stand, High Tea at Altus features a curated selection of handcrafted savoury and sweet delights, including a premium selection of TWG Teas to sip and savour. After some more shopping we will head back to our Hotel late afternoon on the shuttle for a well-earned rest.

Tonight we’ll venture out to Federation Square, transformed into Christmas Square this time of year. First we'll snap a festive group photo in front of the iconic Christmas tree, then enjoy a group dinner (included, venue TBC once dietary requirements are collected). We’ll wrap up the evening with a visit to the spectacular Crown Christmas River Show along the Yarra River—featuring fountains, lasers, lights, and festive music. This free, family-friendly show runs every 15 minutes from 9–11pm along Southbank Promenade and is the perfect end to a magical day.

Sunday 7 December – Markets & Last-Minute Treasures

After your final buffet breakfast, it’s time for one last retail fix before heading home (you can choose to fly home at any time on the Sunday so if you want to fly home before shopping that's totally fine). Choose your own shopping adventure or stick with the group—options include:

• Queen Victoria Markets

• DFO South Wharf

Everything is just a short tram ride from the hotel. Whether you’re grabbing last-minute gifts or soaking up the festive atmosphere, it’s a lovely way to end a fabulous weekend.
