A short, delicious escape designed especially for our Flourish ladies: boutique wineries, distilled spirits tastings, long lunches, lovely company and time to simply relax. Hosted by Jacqui, founder of Flourish Events Tasmania — every detail is planned so you can sit back, sip and savour.

Itinerary (summary)

Friday 16 January — Josef Chromy & Launceston

• Depart Hobart at 9:00am by luxury coach.

  Arrive at Josef Chromy Wines for a guided exploration of the grounds and winery (with a welcome glass of bubbles in hand), followed by a two-course lunch with paired wines (lunch approx. 12:30–3:30pm).

• Check in to Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston and enjoy some free time to relax.

• Evening: Dinner at Alchemy Bar & Grill (own cost) — a relaxed city dinner after a generous winery lunch.

  
  

Saturday 17 January — Tamar Valley tastings & included dinner

• After our buffet breakfast we'll head to:

  
  

  • Turner Stillhouse — a boutique distillery producing small-batch vodka and the award-winning Three Cuts Gin. Enjoy a guided distillery tour and tasting of gin and vodka, and learn about their craft process.

  • Tamar Ridge Vineyard — next door for a tasting flight of four regional wines and a signature cheese platter.

  • Swinging Gate Vineyard — a beautiful, boutique cellar door celebrated for its relaxed charm and quality wines; stop here to linger and enjoy the scenery. We'll stay here for a delicious lunch of woodfired pizzas in a lovely vineyard setting.

  • Marion’s Vineyard — a family-run cellar door with Mediterranean-style gardens and river views; enjoy a final wine and time to explore the gardens before we had back to Launceston

    
    

• Return to Launceston to freshen up.

  
  

• Evening: Tonight we'll enjoy a beautiful dinner 2 course dinner at Alida Restaurant. Maybe a dance to celebrate our amazing weekend away and the new friends we've made.

  
  

Sunday 18 January — Evandale & home

• After breakfast we’ll check out and head to the historic village of Evandale to browse local shops and the Sunday market.

• If shopping is not your thing, you can chill out in one of the many cafes

• Just down the road is Clarendon House - arguably one of Australia's greatest georgian houses still standing today. It has formal gardens and grounds, a tree lined avenue, italianate facade, restored early colonial outbuildings and is owned by the National Trust. We'll stop here to check it out and have a look around before heading home.

• Depart for Hobart, arriving at approximately 3:00pm.

• Places are limited — to protect the intimate feel of the weekend we restrict numbers. Early booking recommended.

• Deposit required to secure your seat; invoice will be sent for balance of trip which will be due 16 December 2025.
