Seven Mile Beach Social (Number 1) - Wine, Spirits and Cheese

🌿 A relaxed day out with your local community

Join me for our very first Seven Mile Beach Social — a relaxed, hosted day out designed especially for locals.

No driving, no organising… just jump on the Flourish bus and enjoy a beautiful day exploring some of the best spots right on our doorstep.

🚌 The Plan

We’ll kick things off with a 10:30am pick up from the bus stop on Surf Road (opposite Lewis Park).

(Depending on where everyone is located, I’m happy to add additional pick-up points. Please let me know on the booking form).

☕ Stop 1 – Coffee to start (own cost)

Our first stop will be Tidal Coffee, where we’ll grab a takeaway coffee before our adventure officially begins.

🥃 Stop 2 – Killara Distillery Experience

Next, we head to the stunning Killara Distillery, founded by Kristy Lark — Australia’s first female whisky distiller and part of the iconic Lark whisky family. Set in the beautiful Tasmanian countryside at Richmond, Killara is known for its handcrafted single malt whisky, gin and seasonal liqueurs.

During our visit, we’ll:

• Learn the story behind the distillery and Kristy’s journey

• Discover how their spirits are crafted

• Enjoy a gin and tonic on arrival

• Take part in a guided cellar door tasting of their range of spirits and liquers

Includes a tasting of the full Killara Whisky and Apothecary range, along with serving suggestions and insights into the distilling process. (Note, it's definitely a good idea to have a decent breakfast before you join us).

🍷 Stop 3 – Lunch at Caledon Estate

We’ll then make our way to the beautiful Caledon Estate, a family-owned vineyard run by the Stewart family.

Known for its warm hospitality, relaxed setting and beautiful architectural design , Caledon is the perfect place to settle in and enjoy a lovely lunch and wine with your new friends and neighbours.

Here we’ll enjoy:

• A two-course lunch Chef's Special lunch consisting of:

  Appetiser - Green Pea Arancini with Parmesan Cream (v)

  Main - Roasted Chicken with barley and caponata salad (this can be subsituted for vegetarian meal)

• A bottle of Caledon Estate Rose wine (1 bottle shared between two guests)

• Time to relax, chat and take in the vineyard surroundings

  
  

It’s one of those places that feels like you’ve discovered a hidden gem.

🧀 Stop 4 – Wicked Cheese

On our way home, we’ll call into the award-winning Wicked Cheese.

Here you can:

• Enjoy a cheese tasting

• Stock up on local produce and goodies

• Or treat yourself to one of their delicious desserts (own cost)

• Pick up and drop off – Seven Mile Beach

• A stop for coffee if you want one to grab one for the road (own cost)

• Travel in the Flourish Bus (air-conditioned/heated + great playlist 😉)

• Gin & tonic on arrival at Killara Distillery

• Guided distillery tasting experience

• Two-course lunch at Caledon Estate

• Wine with lunch (1 bottle of Rose shared between two)

• Stop at Wicked Cheese for a tasting

👥 The Details

• Limited to 11 passengers

• $129 per person (inc GST)

• There is a minimum number of guests required for this event to go ahead - in the event we don't meet that number I will refund you.

• Menu is fixed but dietaries and allergies can be catered for (please add in booking form)

• No refunds available as we pay our suppliers in advance - but you can transfer your ticket to someone else who would like to come if you find you are unable to make it.

  
  

💛 A little note

This is all about getting to know your neighbours, enjoying local experiences and having a really lovely day out — close to home and without the stress of driving.
