Jump aboard the Flourish Bus as we head south to the stunning Huon Valley for a day filled with cider, wine, delicious food and great company.

🍏 Stop 1 – Willie Smith’s Apple Shed

We begin at the ever-popular Willie Smith’s Apple Shed, a true Huon Valley icon.

Set in a beautifully restored apple packing shed, this vibrant venue celebrates Tasmania’s rich apple-growing history.

Here we will:

🍏 Wander the artisan markets held here each Saturday

🛍️ Browse local produce and gifts

🍎 Enjoy a guided cider paddle tasting

🍽️ Sit down to the chef’s “Feed Me” menu — a selection of their 5 most popular dishes

🍷 Stop 2 – Kate Hill Wines

We head to the stunning Kate Hill Wines. Established 2008, this beautiful winery is located on the edge of Huonville in southern Tasmania’s magnificent Huon Valley. Under the watchful eye of winemaker Kate Hill, wines are produced from grapes from their two vineyards in the Huon Valley - Four Winds and The Glen, as well as fruit sourced from some of the best vineyards in other parts of southern Tasmania.

The wines are made in a 19th century apple cool store and packing shed which Kate and her husband Charles have converted into a winery. Their winery, which includes a bottling line, is well equipped, enabling them to be fully independent winemakers, with control over quality at all stages of the winemaking process.

Feel free to grab a glass of your favourite wine, sit out on the deck and linger a while with your new friends.

🧀 Stop 3 – The Kiln Collective Ranelagh

This is where the day takes a special turn. Our final stop is the beautiful Kiln Collective in Ranelagh — a unique and thoughtfully curated space set within a restored historic hop kiln. Originally used in Tasmania’s hop-growing days, the building has been transformed into a stunning showcase of local produce, bringing together cheese, wine, beer and artisan goods all under one roof.

Take your time to wander, browse and soak up the atmosphere.
